Rolonda Scaife- Here's some things about me that make me what I am. My name is Rolonda Marian Scaife. I was born in Juneau Alaska on December 31 1995. I am named after my dad and my grandmother. I am Tlingit, in Tlingit I am a Raved Beaver. I've been going through a lot in my6 life and I think the people around me and what I do make me who I am.
I originally live in Juneau Alaska but for part of my life I lived in Angoon Alaska, where my clan house is, The Spring Water House. I only visit Angoon one or two times a year now. So yeah there's some things you know about me.
Cora Danielson- First off I thought I would tell a little about myself. My name is Cora Danielson, I'm named after my great grandmother in both my Tlingit and my English
name. I've heard nothing but good things about my great grnamother and I'm trying to live up to the name both in everyday life with the choices I make and when I'm doing cultural things like singing and dancing. It's been hard but I've heard that I am more like her than I know, and that always makes me smile.I was born into a rather large family. My mother had five kids, four boys and me, the only girl. Every time I go back to my families home village of Hoonah Alaska I meet some new relatives. The only side of the family I know is my moms side, I always wonder how big my fathers family is.
I've lived in Juneau Alaska all my life. Sure I've gone and visited other places in the United States, but Alaska will always be my home. I use to say that I would leave Alaska first chance I got, but now that I'm only a year away from graduating I'm scared. I don't want to leave my home, but if I do end up leaving I know I will always come back to this beautiful place.
